Barbecue Pizza

Ingredients
1 Bakery baguette
8 teaspoons processed American cheese spread
1 cup shredded pork with barbecue sauce
8 teaspoons French-fried onions, divided
1/4 cup shredded Italian cheese
1 teaspoon Montreal Steak Seasoning

Steps
1. Preheat oven to 400°F.
2. Slice bread in half lengthwise, then cut into fourths. Place on baking sheet.
3. Spread 2 teaspoons American cheese evenly over each pizza.
4. Spread 1/4 cup barbecue evenly over cheese and sprinkle with 1 teaspoon fried onions. Add 1 tablespoon Italian cheese and additional 1 teaspoon fried onions. Repeat for each pizza.
5. Sprinkle 1/4 teaspoon steak seasoning on top of each pizza and bake for 9 minutes.
6. Remove from oven and serve.

White Chicken and Broccoli Pizza

Ingredients
1 1/2 cups fresh broccoli florets
2 cups roasted chicken (10 oz)
1 cup pre-sliced mushrooms
1 cup Alfredo sauce
1 (12-oz) baked pizza crust
2 cups shredded Italian-blend cheese
1 cup shredded Swiss cheese
1 teaspoon dried basil
1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
1/4 teaspoon garlic salt
Olive oil cooking spray
 
Prep
  • Place oven rack in center of oven; then preheat to 425ºF.
  • Cut broccoli into bite-size pieces; place in medium bowl.
  • Tear chicken into bite-size pieces, if needed; add to broccoli.
Steps
  1. Stir in mushrooms and Alfredo sauce.
  2. Place pizza crust on perforated pizza pan (for best results); spread chicken mixture evenly over crust to within 1/2 inch of edge. Spread both cheeses evenly over pizza; then sprinkle with basil, oregano, and garlic salt.
  3. Coat top of pizza lightly with cooking spray. Bake 15 minutes or until cheese is melted and bubbly. Slice and serve.

Taco Bean Pizza

Ingredients
1 pound ground turkey
1 (1 1/4-ounce) packet reduced-sodium taco seasoning mix
1 (10-ounce) can milder diced tomatoes with green chiles (drained)
1 (16-ounce) can pinto beans (drained)
2 cups homestyle herb stuffing mix
1/4 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
1/2 cup mild, all-natural salsa (optional)

Steps
1. Preheat oven to 400°F. Combine turkey and taco seasoning in medium bowl. Wash hands.
2. Stir in tomatoes, beans and stuffing, mixing well. Spread mixture on pizza pan. Bake 15 minutes.
3. Sprinkle with cheese up to 1 inch from edge. Bake 8–10 more minutes until cheese is melted. Cut into wedges and serve with salsa. (Makes 6 servings.)

Southwestern Pizza

Ingredients
8 ounces Deli pre-sliced roast beef
1/3 cup fried peppers/onions
6 ounces package sliced portabella mushrooms (rinsed)
1 tablespoon hickory-flavored marinade
1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
1 (12-ounce) prepared pizza crust
cooking spray
1/4 cup refried beans with chiles
1/3 cup taco sauce
1 1/2 cups shredded Mexican-blend cheese


Steps
1. Place oven rack in center of oven; preheat to 375°F. Preheat large sauté pan on medium-high for 2-3 minutes. Cut roast beef into 1/4-inch-strips.
2. Place beef, fried peppers/onions, mushrooms, marinade, salt, and pepper in pan. Cover and cook 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally, or until heated.
3. Meanwhile, place pizza crust on baking sheet; coat crust with cooking spray. Spread refried beans over crust; spread taco sauce over beans.
4. Drain beef mixture; spread evenly over pizza. Sprinkle with cheese. Bake 15–20 minutes or until cheese melts. Let stand 5 minutes; slice and serve.

Seafood Pizza

Ingredients
1 (16-ounce) prepared deep-dish pizza crust
cooking spray
1/4 cup light mayonnaise
1 tablespoon pesto sauce
1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning, divided
1 1/2 cups shredded Italian-blend cheese, divided
1/4 cup roasted red peppers
6 ounces crab flake-style surimi (or crabmeat)
8 ounces cooked shrimp (thawed, if needed)
1 cup pre-sliced baby portabella mushrooms (rinsed)
4–6 fresh basil leaves (rinsed)

Steps
1. Preheat oven 450°F. Place pizza crust on baking sheet (or pizza pan); coat crust with cooking spray.
2. Combine mayonnaise and pesto in small bowl until blended; spread mixture evenly over crust. Sprinkle with 1/4 teaspoon of the Italian seasoning and 1/2 cup of the cheese.
3. Dice peppers. Cut crabmeat into bite-size pieces. Drain shrimp and pat dry.
4. Arrange shrimp, crab, peppers, and mushrooms evenly over pizza. Top with remaining 1 cup cheese and 1/4 teaspoon Italian seasoning. Bake 20 minutes or until cheese is melted and golden.
5. Slice basil leaves into very thin strips. Sprinkle over pizza and let stand 5 minutes before cutting. Serve. (Makes 6 servings.)

Sausage and Peppers Pizza

Ingredients
1 lb Bakery pizza dough
1 small green bell pepper, coarsely chopped
1 small red bell pepper, coarsely chopped
1 small sweet onion, coarsely chopped
3 links mild Italian sausage (about 1 lb)
2 tablespoons canola oil, divided
3/4 cup pizza sauce
2 cups shredded (or fresh) mozzarella cheese
1 tablespoon grated Parmesan cheese

Prep
  • Remove dough from refrigerator and let stand one hour (do not remove from bag until stand time completed).
  • Preheat oven to 400°F.
  • Chop peppers and onion.
  • Remove sausage casing: cut almost in half lengthwise (butterfly); turn sausage over and peel casing away.
Steps
  1. Preheat large sauté pan on medium-high 2–3 minutes. Place 1 tablespoon oil in pan, then add sausage; brown 5–6 minutes, stirring to crumble sausage, or until no pink remains. Let stand 2–3 minutes to cool.
  2. Prepare crust. For a thick crust: flour hands lightly and pat dough evenly into lightly greased or nonstick 16" pizza pan. For a thin crust: turn dough out onto a lightly floured surface and roll to desired thickness. Place on lightly greased or nonstick 16" pizza pan.
  3. Top crust with pizza sauce, mozzarella cheese, peppers, onions, and sausage. Brush outer edge of crust with remaining 1 tablespoon oil and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Bake 18–25 minutes (depending on thickness of pizza) or until crust is golden, cheese is melted, and toppings are thoroughly heated. Let stand 5 minutes before slicing. Serve. (Makes 8 servings.)

Provençale Pizza

Ingredients
2 cups fresh spinach (loosely packed)
1 tablespoon water
2 tablespoons sun-dried tomatoes (about 8)
1 Bakery baguette
butter-flavored vegetable cooking spray
4 teaspoons pesto sauce
2 tablespoons sliced black olives, drained
2 tablespoons roasted red peppers
3/4 cup shredded Italian blend cheese
8 teaspoons feta cheese
1/2 teaspoon seasoned salt
1/4 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Steps
1. Preheat oven to 400°F.
2. Add spinach, water and sun-dried tomatoes (leaving on top for easy retrieval) to microwave-safe bowl; cover and microwave on high for 2 minutes.
3. Cut bread in half lengthwise, then into fourths. Place on baking sheet.
4. Spray each pizza with butter-flavored spray; then spread each with 1 teaspoon pesto sauce.
5. Remove sun-dried tomatoes from spinach mixture and slice into 1/8-inch slices. Drain and slice olives, if needed. Drain red peppers and slice into 1/8-inch strips.
6. Top each pizza with 1/4 each: spinach mixture, sun-dried tomato, Italian and feta cheese, red pepper slices and olives.
7. Sprinkle with seasoned salt and Italian seasoning.
8. Place in oven and bake for 9 minutes. Remove from oven and serve.

Pita Pizzas

Ingredients
4 white flat bread
1 tablespoon fresh tarragon
1 tablespoon fresh sage
1 cup pizza sauce
1 cup shredded Italian cheese blend
4 frozen fully cooked spicy sausage links
16 pepperoni slices
1/4 cup crumbled feta cheese


Steps
1. Preheat oven to 400°F.
2. Place flat bread on large baking sheet.
3. Wash tarragon and sage and pat dry. Remove any tough stems and chop finely to measure 1 tablespoon each. Place in small mixing bowl.
4. Add pizza sauce and mix well. Divide and spread on each pizza crust up to 1 inch from border. Sprinkle with 1/4 cup Italian cheese per pizza.
5. Cut sausage into 1/4-inch slices. Divide and place on pizzas. Place 4 pepperoni slices on each pizza.
6. Sprinkle 1 tablespoon feta cheese on each pizza and bake 15 minutes. Serve.

Philly Cheese Steak Pizza

Ingredients
cooking spray
1 1/2 cups frozen pepper stir-fry (contains sliced green/red/yellow peppers and onions)
2 cups sliced fresh mushrooms
1 (14-ounce) box frozen beef sandwich steaks
1 teaspoon Montreal steak seasoning
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1 (8-ounce) box processed bar cheese
1 (12-inch) pizza crust
1/4 cup shredded mild Cheddar cheese

Steps
1. Preheat oven to 375°F and large sauté pan on high for 1-2 minutes.
2. Spray pan with cooking spray. Place pepper stir-fry and mushrooms in pan. Sauté 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally.
3. Add steak, steak seasoning and Worcestershire sauce. Cover and cook 5-7 minutes, breaking meat up as it cooks.
4. While steak is cooking, cut bar cheese into 1/8-inch slices. Place pizza crust on baking sheet and spray with cooking spray.
5. Place steak mixture in colander and drain well by pressing with back of spoon.
6. Spread steak mixture in center of crust leaving 1-inch border. Place bar cheese on top of steak mixture and sprinkle with shredded cheese.
7. Bake 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown.
8. Cut into 6 wedges and serve.

Patty Melt Pizza

Ingredients
3 medium onions, thinly sliced
1 (12-inch) prepared pizza crust
1 lb ground beef
1 teaspoon seasoned salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1/3 cup steak sauce
2 tablespoons butter
1 teaspoon caraway seeds
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1/3 cup shredded Italian six-cheese blend
1/3 cup Thousand Island dressing
7 thin slices reduced-fat sharp Cheddar cheese


Prep
  • Preheat oven to 400°F.
  • Slice onion.
Steps
  1. Preheat large sauté pan on medium-high 2–3 minutes. Add ground beef, seasoned salt, and pepper; brown 5–7 minutes, stirring to crumble meat, or until no pink remains. Stir in steak sauce; remove meat from pan.
  2. Place pizza crust directly on oven rack; cook 7–8 minutes or until slightly crisp.
  3. Place butter in same pan, then add onions, caraway seeds, and Worcestershire sauce; cook 8–10 minutes or until soft and well browned.
  4. Place pizza crust on baking sheet. Combine shredded cheese and dressing; spread over crust. Arrange meat over dressing; spread onions over meat. Top with Cheddar cheese and return to oven; bake 4–5 minutes or until cheese melts. Slice pizza and serve.

Beanie Weenie Pizza

Ingredients
3 hot dogs (turkey or beef)
2 tablespoons fresh pre-diced onions
2 tablespoons fresh pre-diced tomatoes
1 lb fresh pizza dough
1/2 cup shredded part-skim mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
1 cup canned baked beans
1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil
1/4 cup flour
nonstick aluminum foil


Steps
  1. If pizza dough is frozen, it must be thawed overnight under refrigeration until doubled in volume. Bag contains enough dough for two pizzas; cut dough in half and reserve other half of dough for another pizza. (Use within 24 hours.)
  2. Preheat oven to 400°F. Line 2-sided tabletop grill with nonstick foil, then preheat. Sprinkle flour over clean work surface. Roll dough into an 8- x 10-inch oval shape. Brush top of dough lightly with olive oil; transfer dough to grill, oiled side down. Brush other side with oil. Close lid and grill 4–5 minutes or until crust is golden. Meanwhile, combine in small bowl, beans, onions, and tomatoes. Cut hot dogs into 1/4-inch-thick slices.
  3. Transfer pizza crust from grill to baking sheet. Cover crust with mozzarella cheese, then top with bean mixture. Arrange hot dog slices evenly over pizza. Sprinkle with Cheddar cheese. Bake 7–9 minutes or until cheese melts and crust is crisp. Let stand 3–5 minutes, then slice and serve.

Buffalo Chicken Pizza

Ingredients
2/3 cup cooked chicken (or shredded Publix Deli rotisserie chicken)
1 lb fresh Publix Bakery pizza dough (thawed and doubled in volume)
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
nonstick aluminum foil
1/4 cup flour
1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil
1/2 cup + 2 tablespoons Buffalo wing sauce, divided
1/2 cup blue cheese (or ranch) salad dressing

Steps

Breakfast Pizza

Ingredients
2 tablespoons flour, divided
1 (16-ounce) package Bakery pizza dough
butter cooking spray
3 eggs
1/4 cup fat-free ricotta cheese
1/2 teaspoon seasoned salt
1 cup light shredded Mexican-blend cheese
1/2 cup cooked diced ham
1/4 cup frozen seasoning blend (diced onions, bell peppers, celery)

Steps
1. Preheat oven to 400°F. Sprinkle work surface with 1 tablespoon of the flour. Place dough in middle of flour and sprinkle top with remaining 1 tablespoon flour. Roll dough, using rolling pin, until 1/4-inch thick. (Shape should be somewhat rectangular.)
2. Place dough on 9- x 15-inch baking sheet and flatten with finger tips to loosely fit pan. Coat dough with cooking spray; set aside.
3. Combine in medium bowl: eggs, ricotta cheese, and seasoned salt until blended. Stir in remaining ingredients; spread mixture over dough leaving about 1-inch border. Bake 15 minutes.
4. Slide pizza off baking sheet, using turning spatula to control movement, directly onto oven rack. Bake 5 more minutes or until cheese is melted and crust is golden. Serve.

Greek Salad

Ingredients 1 medium cucumber
1 1/2 cups grape tomatoes
one 4 1/4-ounce can chopped black olives
one 8-ounce bag shredded lettuce
8 pepperocini peppers
1/2 cup feta cheese crumbles
1/3 cup Greek feta dressing

Steps
1. Wash cucumber and tomatoes. Cut ends off cucumber. Using vegetable peeler, peel cucumber. Cut in half length-wise and dice into bite-size pieces. Open and drain olives.
2. Place lettuce in salad bowl and layer in the following order: cucumber, tomatoes, olives, peppers and feta cheese.
3. Drizzle dressing over top of salad. Toss, if desired, and serve.
