Ranch Steaks

Ingredients
1 1/2 pounds beef rib-eye steaks (about 1 inch thick)
1 teaspoon seasoned pepper
1 teaspoon garlic salt
2 tablespoons butter
1/4 cup pre-diced red onions

Steps
1. Preheat large sauté pan on medium-high 2–3 minutes. Cut steaks into four portions; sprinkle both sides with seasoned pepper and garlic salt. Wash hands.
2. Place butter in pan; swirl to coat. Add steaks and cook 5 minutes. (Do not turn steaks.)
3. Turn steaks; add onions around steaks. Cook 4–5 more minutes or until internal temperature reaches 145°F for medium-rare. Use a meat thermometer to accurately ensure doneness. (Adjust time as needed for desired doneness.) Serve onions over steaks.
