Corn Flake Pork Chops

Ingredients
2 cups corn flakes cereal
1 egg, beaten (or 1/4 cup egg substitute)
4 boneless pork chops (1 1/2 lb)
1/2 teaspoon seasoned salt
4 tablespoons herb garlic butter
Prep
  • Place cereal in large zip-top bag and crush, using fingers.
  • Place egg in medium bowl.
  • Sprinkle pork chops with seasoned salt.


Steps
  1. Preheat large sauté pan on medium 2–3 minutes. Coat pork chops by dipping in egg; let excess drip off and add to zip-top bag (wash hands). Seal bag; shake (or press with fingertips) to coat pork chops.
  2. Place butter in pan and then add pork chops; cook 6–7 minutes on each side or until 160°F (for medium). Serve.



2nd Corn Flake Pork Chops recipe

Ingredients
2 cups corn flakes
large resealable food storage bag
2 eggs
1 1/2 pounds (4 chops) pork center rib chops
4 tablespoons butter

Steps
1. Put corn flakes in resealable food storage bag and crush.
2. Scramble eggs in bowl.
3. Preheat pan on medium-high (1-2 minutes).
4. Clean and dry pork chops.
5. Bread pork chops by first dipping in egg mixture, then placing in bag with corn flakes and shaking or pressing in to coat.
6. Melt butter in pan.
7. Fry pork chops for 9 minutes per side, turning with tongs. Serve.
